How-To: Prepare Artwork for Scentsy Custom Gifts Orders

Are you getting ready to place a custom gifts order with Scentsy and don’t have the correct artwork to submit? This screencast will walk you through step-by-step how to take almost any artwork file and convert it to an .ai file that is suitable to submission. Here are the steps you will need to complete:

1. Download & Install Adobe Creative Cloud.

2. Download & Install Adobe Illustrator CC (Free 30-Day Trial).

3. Use Image Trace in Illustrator to Convert the artwork that was provided to you into an .ai file.

Please make sure you have requested the highest quality file that the company has access to. It is common for designers to send businesses a .pdf file that may be fairly simple to convert. This video will show you how to deal with those types of files or how to process a flat image (which could also be a .pdf file) and use Illustrator to convert that into a vector-based .ai file.
